So basically, I'm a little bit famous and widely known as the OG island girlie. (That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.)

If I'm going to be chasing you through a field on your wedding day in a totally not creepy way, then you might like to know a thing or two about me: I'm obsessed with the luxury of a slow morning, complete with golden sunlight and a handcrafted latte. I could be standing on the surface of the sun, and I'd still want my latte hot. I have a thing for sunsets, so much to the extent that my daughter's excuse to stay up late is now, "But Mom! We have to watch the sunset together."

I know it sounds like the sun is my entire personality, and it pretty much is, but I also read romance novels like it's my job (also, pretty much is), am a Swiftie in my soul, and am the mother of two little girls that I swear are what make the world go round.

my heart beats
for your love story.

I always-- and I mean always-- wanted to be a wedding photographer. I honestly couldn't picture a life doing anything else. But then (*spoiler!*)... I did something else. My play-it-safe logic kicked in, and I went to college to become an elementary school teacher. Don't get me wrong; I loved my time as an educator.

but something was missing.

and that something
was you.

and that
something was you.

Years later, I dusted off my old camera and spoke that silly little dream of mine into existence. I told my husband that I had always dreamed of becoming a wedding photographer. He looked me dead in the eye and told me to do it. So I did it.

And here we are, you and me, about to turn your "I do/hell yes" day into a reality, the same way I turned a not-so-silly-after all little dream into mine.

become a dream team

when i think about my own experience searching for a wedding photographer,
i remember:

+ Feeling like all of the vendors were blurring together

+ Wondering if anyone actually cared about telling my love story, from start to finish

+ Resisting anything that hinted at manufactured moments or posed scenarios

+ Having a little bit of an existential crisis (I mean, planning a wedding is a LOT)

CORE VALUES

timelessness,
above all else

While trends will come and go, your photographs will last a lifetime and then some, handed down from generation to generation as hallmarks of a love done right.

unfiltered
authenticity

My approach as a Minnesota wedding photographer revolves around the spontaneity of a moment, the fleetingness of a smile, and flash-in-a-pan kisses.

comfort
and effortlessness

The least I can do is make sure that you go into your wedding day with nothing but the utmost of faith in me and how wholeheartedly I will show up for your love story.

"WORKING WITH TAYLER WAS LIKE WORKING WITH A FRIEND WE'VE KNOWN OUR ENTIRE LIVES!"

"Neither my husband or I are 'photo people,' so it was super important while searching for a wedding photographer to find someone we felt comfortable with. Tayler goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and is so friendly! And then she sends you the most beautiful images."

if you sit down at the local coffee shop with me, you'll quickly learn that:

+ The most frequently used word in my vocabulary is, without a doubt, 'vibe.'

+ I love baking sourdough. My days revolve around my stretch and fold schedule.

+ Nothing gets me singing at the top of my lungs, banging-on-the-steering-wheel-style (but is there really any other way?) like Long Live by T.Swift.

+ The Minnesota State Fair is the event of the year for me. I live for it, and you can find me there with a Mini Donut Beer in each hand.

+ If I was stranded on an island, I'd actually be pretty okay with it because sea air and sand between my toes is my idea of Eden.
